Welcome to The Wild Ones, Kampala’s creative home for music, art, and community. We’re more than a venue — we’re a living, breathing ecosystem for creativity.
Whether you’re a DJ collective, live band, fashion designer, or filmmaker, this is where ideas take shape, collaborations are born, and unforgettable experiences come to life.
We can host corporate events and private birthdays too and things like that of course.

The Wild Ones isn’t just one room — it’s a network of interconnected spaces, each with its own energy and purpose.
- The Loft – our dedicated space for underground and electronic sounds, intimate yet electric.
- The Rooftop Bar & Terrace – open-air vibes, perfect for live music, DJ sets, or creative pop-ups.
- The Upper Café Bar – a more intimate, flexible space for screenings, discussions, or smaller gatherings.
- The Courtyard – an expansive outdoor zone (up to 500+ capacity) available on weekends and evenings for major events and festivals.
Together, these spaces create a curated ecosystem, where multiple forms of art and culture can coexist — from music and dance to fashion, photography, and theatre. Some nights are single-focus takeovers; others are multi-stage experiences, where different worlds collide under one creative roof.
🔧 Plug-and-Play Professionalism
We’ve designed The Wild Ones to make hosting easy. Our plug-and-play setup includes a 16-channel mixer, full sound system with tops, subs, and monitors, DMX lighting, projector and screen, smoke machines, and a drum kit — all supported by our in-house sound engineer.
We also have a backup generator, kitchen and bar, and a team to help with logistics and promotion through WhatsApp coordination groups and our social channels.
So whether you’re curating a fashion showcase, a birthday party, a live gig, or a full-venue takeover, we can adapt the setup to make your event run seamlessly.
🌱 An Ecosystem for Growth
At The Wild Ones, we believe creativity grows best in community. You don’t need to have everything figured out — we’re here to help ideas evolve.
Artists and organisers can use our studio space to plan and experiment, or apply for a Creative Residency to spend time developing their project in the space. Many collaborations start right here — over a coffee, a sound check, or a jam session.
The Wild Ones is designed as a place where creativity can move through three stages:
1️⃣ Conceived – brainstorm, collaborate, and prototype your idea.
2️⃣ Developed – use our studio and network to refine it.
3️⃣ Showcased – bring it to life on one of our stages.

We understand that every event is different — from established promoters with big followings to small, experimental collectives pushing new sounds.
That’s why we offer flexible partnership models, including:

Our goal is always to create win–win arrangements that feel fair and sustainable for both the organiser and the venue. On Fridays and Saturdays, we focus on larger, crowd-pulling nights to sustain the ecosystem — and during the week, we open the doors to more experimental ideas.

🌐 Fly on the Wall: Connecting Uganda to the World
We’re also building a bridge to the world through @The Loft Sessions: Africa — our own Boiler Room-style broadcasts that showcase East African DJs and artists globally.
Through our Fly on the Wall project, we’ll soon live-stream not only music but also fashion, art, theatre, and talks — allowing global audiences to be a fly on the wall as they experience Uganda’s creative energy in real time.
