Launching The Jungle: Kampala’s New Creative Co-Working and SOCIAL IMPACT Hub at The Wild Ones

From Laptop to Live Stage. From Meeting to Launch Event. From Idea to Impact.
Welcome to The Jungle — the new daytime creative co-working and social impact hub at The Wild Ones.
This is where ideas are born and brought to life in the very same space. A place for entrepreneurs, startups, charities, and creatives to come together, work, connect, and create.
It’s more than just desks and Wi-Fi. The Jungle is part of an ecosystem: where a thought typed on a laptop can grow into a workshop, a pitch, a campaign, or even a live event on stage, in the very same venue – this is The Wild Ones!
From laptop to live stage. From meeting to launch event. From idea to impact.
That’s what makes The Wild Ones different — and why The Jungle is massive, i mean here… 😂 …
Social Impact Hub? What’s That? Great question! Well the founder of The Wild Ones, Marcus Warry is also a Social Impact Consultant, and The Wild Ones is project started by his UK consultancy (www.mysocialimpact.org). My Social Impact advises organisations on how to make, measure and report on their social impact – so, all Charities, NGOs, Social Enterprises, and Social Impact Warriors are absolutely welcome here of course! Let’s make a wild impact together!

Put yourself in the picture!

HEARD ENOUGH ALREADY?
The Jungle by Day
The Jungle is your new daytime home for:
- Hot-desking with Wi-Fi, power, and a focused vibe
- Meetings & brainstorming with colleagues or collaborators
- Space to work, create, and connect with like-minded people
- Affordable food & drink on hand: 20k lunch time pizzas, 20k Rolexes, coffees, sodas (we are happy to grow and shape the menu around community requests)
Unlike a café where you’re just another laptop in the corner, The Jungle is defined as a dedicated workspace, but also the chance to join a likeminded community too. Also unlike a pure coworking space, here you aren’t charged a daily fee to use it, it’s essentially FREE to use (more on this later)
By the way, on weekend nights, the very same Jungle room transforms into The Loft — the electronic heartbeat of The Wild Ones, where live music, DJs and dance floors take over. You can find out more about our events on this website, or follow us on social media of course.
And on weekday evenings, the Jungle is also available for workshops, talks, and private events (maybe ones you have created here too! From laptop to live stage!
What do you think? Does this sound like a place you’d like to come and work and a community you’d like to join?
ITS FREE TO USE (WITH A 30k WILD Twist)
Most co-working spaces in Kampala charge around 30k per day to sit down at a table and use Wi-Fi essentially (maybe you get a drink or something thrown in)
At The Jungle, we simply ask that you try to spend up to 30k during your day. Not a fee, but a suggested spend. What could 30k get you here?
- A lunch time pizza and soda
- A Rolex and juice
- About 3 coffees!
We are a social enterprise, and every coffee, beer or pizza you buy helps us to grow and support the creative community here at The Wild Ones – Cultivating Creativity, Inspiring Change! (For more ways you support this vision please click here: https://thewildones.club/support-us/)
So your day’s work is always paired with good food and drink (and doing good too!!). And as the old saying goes, “creativity is fuelled by a Rolex” Anonymous wild one, circa 3,000 years ago…
Oh and, also, you could be invited to take a two week residency in the creative studio too, culminating in a showcase event at the end. We will also help you to develop, market and host the event of course. Find out more about this here:
Also, if we get on like a house on fire, you could be invited to take a fixed desk and space with us too – so, it’s always worth asking us about that too . (I have my own office that i barely use – as I’m wondering around the whole time, or working in the jungle rooftop bar area myself… so this might become the social impact hub, when we find the right people for it!)
Creative Sparks & The Wild Ones Ecosystem
The Jungle isn’t a sterile office. It’s part of a living, breathing ecosystem. And The Rooftop bar and restaurant is ever present too of course.
So around The Wild Ones, you might see an impromptu photo shoot happening, an artist painting something, or a CMH live planning session for the next Sunday live band. That buzz is intentional. It means you’re not just working in a dull office — you’re immersed in a community of creators, entrepreneurs, and change makers.
And here’s the magic: an idea that starts on your laptop in the day can come to life as a live event on our stage at night. I think I’ve said that already – I clearly like this line 😂 …
Anyway, that’s what makes The Wild Ones a bit different. You can work, create and showcase all under the same roof…

Come and See for Yourself
It’s one thing to read about it — but The Jungle is something you need to experience.
Come by during the day, grab a coffee (or a pizza, or a Rolex), bring your laptop, and see how The Jungle, The Rooftop and the Loft fit together. You’ll get your head around what we mean by “one venue, two stages” — and how this ecosystem can take you from laptop to live stage, meeting to launch event, idea to impact.
The best way to understand it is simply to come and check it out!
