We’re really privileged to receive so many messages from amazing creators who want to perform or host events at The Wild Ones. We love the energy and ideas people bring our way, and we want to make sure every proposal gets the attention it deserves.
That’s why we’ve put together this blog. It explains exactly how things work — what we’re looking for, what details we need, and the different ways to get involved. By reading this first and responding accordingly, you’ll help us move faster from idea to action — and together, we can focus on what matters most: creating some wild magic.
What We’re Looking For
At The Wild Ones, we’re about cultivating creativity and inspiring change. We want new ideas, bold acts, and unforgettable nights. Whether it’s music, art, film, fashion, or poetry, this is your place to make it happen. Yes, even if you’re into some kind of obscure dance form that only 5 people know about – contact us!
We’re especially looking for:
- Big acts & commercial shows — particularly for weekends.
- Experimental and new ideas — which fit better during the week.
- Creative collaborators — we’re open to both fresh voices and seasoned performers.
We also run regular opportunities for artists to get involved:
- Two-week residencies — for artists looking to develop and showcase their work.
- Open Decks — DJs can meet us and spin a short set.
- Sundays — our open day for artists, vendors, crafters and musicians, culminating in The Wild Ones Band and Jam.
- Open Mic Mondays — poets, spoken word, and live performers.
- A variety of Creative Nights — events around dance, film, fashion, photography, come along to these events, and get stuck in!

Why We Ask
This isn’t about gatekeeping — it’s about making sure the right ideas get the right platform.
The Wild Ones is now a multi-stage venue:
- The Loft — intimate and raw, takes around 100 people.
- The Upper Café Area — cosy, around 30 people.
- The Rooftop Bar — high energy, up to 250 people.
- The Entire Wild Ones (including Courtyard) — when fully opened, the whole space can host up to 1,000 people.

With these different spaces, we can shape the right environment for different events — from intimate poetry nights to full-scale concerts. The information you provide helps us work out not only which day your idea fits best (weekday experimental or weekend more commercial), but also which stage or area will bring it to life.
If you’re new and don’t have an audience yet, we might collaborate to help you build one. If you already have a following, we want to know how best to host you and your crowd.
Join the Community
It’s important that you also join our WhatsApp Creative Community. We’ve set up over 20 groups across all creative disciplines — from music to dance, photography to poetry. It’s another way of engaging with us directly, but also a space where you might find other creators to cross-fertilise ideas with, collaborate on projects, and even build events together.
